EXPLAINED
All of complete profile kit solutions come as standard with a 2 metre aluminium profile, end-caps,
diffuser and mounting clips. To ensure you are ordering the correct kit, we have set out a guide to
show you how our coding system works. The code diagram below outlines the steps needed to
create the example code A/AP/SM/01/20/SI/01.
All of the individual parts which normally come as a part of a kit can also be ordered separately.
So, if you need any spare parts, or want to get creative with different colours and finishes,

CODE PART 1: MOUNTING TYPE
Part 1 of the coding system is the mounting type. We offer several mounting types, these are;
SM = Surface Mounting. RE = Recessed, CO = Cove, PI = Plaster in, SU = Suspended and
ST = Step-edge. The example shown indicates a surface mounted profile has been selected.

CODE PART 2: SIZE
Part 2 of the coding system is the size of the profile. Some have several size options
available, whereas some only have 1. All available codes and sizing is shown on the
following pages.

CODE PART 3: IP RATING
Part 3 of the coding system is the IP rating of the profile. Some have both IP20 and IP65
options available, The code for IP rating is the same as the number rating itself, for example
the code for IP20 profile would be ‘20’. The example shown indicates a IP20 profile has
been selected.

CODE PART 4: FINISHES
Part 4 of the coding system is the finishes of the profile. All are available in white, black and
silver, aside from cove which is only available in silver. The code is the first 2 letters of the finish
itself, the code for silver profile would be ‘SI’. The example shown indicates a silver profile has
been selected.
